CCRA SCHOLARSHIP

Student Scholarship Opportunity!

The California Court Reporters Association (CCRA) awards an annual $1,500 scholarship to support court reporting students who have successfully completed Project Steno’s Basic Training Program and meet the outlined eligibility criteria. The scholarship is designed to encourage continued progress in the court reporting profession and is awarded through a random drawing at the Annual Business Meeting. Please apply by Midnight, August 11, 2025.

How to Apply:

Eligibility Requirements:
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following:

  1. Provide a Certificate of Completion issued by Project Steno.
  2. Be a California resident.
  3. Be enrolled in a court reporting school at the time of application.
  4. Have reached a speed class level of 180 wpm or higher.
  5. Be a CCRA student member in good standing.

 

Award Selection
All eligible applicants will be entered into a random drawing held during the CCRA Annual Business Meeting. The winner will be announced live and notified by email.
