CRCW 2025

We’re kicking things off with an in-person Boot Camp at Downey Adult School on Saturday, February 1st.

The celebration continues throughout the week with virtual events, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM nightly (see schedule above).
Learn new skills, practice your favorites, or simply come and hang out with us! Register online, then order or pick up your supplies from any craft store. Once you RSVP, the complete list of supplies needed will be emailed to you (also listed below).

Due to technical difficulties with our auto messaging system, we understand that the Zoom access information was not sent in time for Monday’s event.  Therefore, Crochet with Elena Murphy has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

Beginners and experts are welcome!

SUPPLY LISTS:

Tuesday: Crafting With Cristine Ramirez Gerongco (Tea light Petal Mason Jars)

Wednesday: Mandala Art With Michelle Caldwell

 Thursday: Baking With Brooke Ryan

Friday: Diamond Painting with Michelle Caldwell

  • Diamond Painting Kit/Pattern https://a.co/d/chrV7da (Or Any Similar COMPLETE Diamond Painting Kit/Pattern)

Saturday (9:00 - 11:00 AM): Crochet With Elena Murphy (We will be making a cowl/scarf)

  • 1-2 skeins of bulky or super bulky yarn, acrylic or blend.
    • I recommend NOT 100% cotton or wool for this project.
    • Get solid color, two different colors, or a yarn that is multi-color.  Whatever you like!
    • Anything at Joann or Michaels or similar store is fine.  Don’t spend too much on it!
  • Crochet hook
    • The yarn label will specify a hook size.  Get one that size.  One bigger or smaller is okay too.
    • It doesn’t matter what material the hook is.  I like metal but plastic and wood are fine.
  • Scissors
  • (OPTIONAL) Tapestry needle.  Make sure your yarn fits in the eye of the needle.
