CCRA – CCG & CRG Exam Day

CCRA is proud to announce that during our mock CSR we will offer our realtime skills test and our CART skills test.  On Saturday, June 24th, we will hold both skills tests at Cypress College and Golden State College, starting with registration at 9:30 a.m. for the CCG.  After the CCG is completed, we will start registration for the CRG at 11:00 a.m.

The Certified CART Generalist (CCG) exam will be a 15-minute professionally recorded dictation test. The first five minutes will be lead-in, with the last 10 minutes graded. The examination will be given at 180 words per minute. 96% accuracy is required to pass the test (76 errors total allowed).
 
The Certified Realtime Generalist (CRG) exam is a five-minute professionally recorded dictation test given at 200 Q&A with a maximum of 40 errors, 96% accuracy, with a two-minute lead-in.

There are no CEUs to maintain. Pass it once, remain a CCRA member in good standing, and the CRG and CCG are certificates you can proudly claim forever.
 
Freelancers: Do you do court work?  Add more initials behind your name, distinguish yourself from other colleagues who do court work, and earn the same certification your official colleagues will be earning soon at a fraction of the cost of other certificates with no CEUs to maintain.

CCRA is the only state court reporting association approved by the Judicial Council for inclusion on its "List of Approved Providers for Continuing Education" pursuant to California Rules of Court 10.481(a).
 
This honor of inclusion not only allows officials to get relevant professional training and certifications counted toward their mandated continuing education but also get it paid for by those courts who reimburse for attendance at seminars.
 
Further, we believe this certificate provided by the only Judicial Council-approved state association will aid reporters to bargain credibly for a CART and realtime salary differential or bonus.  And for those courts that pay for your attendance at seminars, inclusion of CCRA's CCG and CRG in your MOU means you and your colleagues could get your certificate registration fees reimbursed by the court.

10:30:Collect USB drives and payment for those that want their test graded.
 
Certified Realtime Generalist (CRG) Exam:
11:00 to 11:15: Registration
11:15 to 11:45: Warm-up
11:45: Adminster test
11:55:Collect USB drives and payment for those that want their test graded.

$50 for each exam registration

$75 for each exam registration

*Grading is optional and can be paid on day of Exam.

Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations on or before Monday, June 12, 2017, are subject to a $7.00 administrative fee. Cancellations are not accepted after June 12, 2017.
